Kinja'd!!!

Looking for a high quality, sticky NGIL 2 lithium grease with LOTS of Moly for use in a slip joint. Im hoping that just by changing from O’reilly’s grease to something with higher moly and a little more stick that the vibes and shunt will go away. Any suggestions? needs to be in tubes for zerk injections.

No likey Valvoline Paladium? It’s 5% Molybdenum and is what I used when rebuilding the knuckles.

I’ve literally only ever use the cheap stuff, so I haven’t tried the valvoline. I will pick some up if its really 5%. Thats high.

I think I had to get it from Napa, somewhere around $5 a tube, don’t fully recall. It’s been a hot minute.

I use this stuff for serviceable poly bushings. Works great.

Ah, gotcha.

Well, for what it’s worth, Ford recommends PFTE grease on their slip yokes.

I think they use coated slip joints, mine are steel on steel.
